Hi guys, I would please like to urge you al making use of the ZA-Portal proxie and services to refrain from futher use.

We have received allegations about potential fraud committed by ZA-Portal. The matter is still being investigated and awaiting feedback from all the parties, but you may be well advised to stop using the service until all the parties have given their views.

Acording to Elitehost ZA-Portal owner was using several fraudulant credit cards to fund this whole scheme, he even used different identities to register with all the different ISPs.

If you used the service with internet banking and entered any credential please be adviced and change these details.

Some of you may remember the post I did a while back about ZA-Portal the local site that offers free proxy servers to browse international sites. The good news is that the services is still well alive and running, just that the urls have been changed for some reason.

ZA-Portal now even offers http proxies for use, which makes it possible to view youtube videos and even download large files all with local only cap.

ZATorrents opened it doors today to the public. ZATorrents is a new initiative by owner of ZA-Portal, the free local proxy service that allows you to browse and download content with local only cap.

ZATorrents is having a new signup competition, and I decided to help out a bit. The ZATorrent competition is a refer contest , the top 3 members to refer the most users get a prize as listed below.  To refer someone is quite easy , during signup you just put your name into the refer box and that is it.

Great news for those of us on the last few days of the month without international cap. Some guy, name still unknow, has come to the rescue to our problem by offering a local web proxy service called ZA-Portal.

ZA-Portal is not only a web proxy but they offer other services such as rappid leech, a type of rapidshare service, aswell as mirrors to some sites and even script based games all on local bandwidth.

The question on everybodies lips now is will this service be offered for longer than a month or two without shutting down like previous attempts like this. Users ons the MyBroadband forum reports that speed on the proxy service is exceptionaly good and I can speak for it aswell after testing it out. The owner of ZA-Portal also announced a 2nd and 3rd proxy in the pipeline as demand is very big at the moment.

All and all I would say this is great news for us local users and only time will tell if the service will be either suspended or change into a paid for service, although the owner of ZA-Portal said that would never be the case.
