This is what a cup looks like (This is the what the Brazilian cup would look like if they weren’t taken out)

Where you’ll find the cups:

Springleap’s Facebook Fanpage
Springleap’s Twitter stream

2. PREDICT
Follow this link and predict who you think will get to the finals along with your score prediction.

When you have the cup that represents your prediction for the big win, send it to:
marketing@springleap.com along with your final score prediction.

3. POST
In support of your team, upload the cup to your Facebook profile to show your support (this isn’t part of the competition but we do think it would be awesome to show your team some love!)

4. WIN
The very best part! The first participant to submit the winning cup as well as the closest final score prediction will win 2 Springleap T-shirts a month for the rest of the year!!! The winner will be announced on the 12th of July 2010.

Download Free Vuvuzela ringtone for your phoneWe have all grown to love it and some of us hate it very much, but no matter how you feel about the Vuvuzela it is here to stay throughout the 2010 World Cup tournament.

I have come to the conclusion that it is usually those that do not have a Vuvuzela or has not had the chance to blow one that gets upset with it, I mean it is just so much fun. Even if you do not have a Vuvuzela you get applications for your phones that simulates the noise of a Vuvuzela blowing when you touch the screen.

Thats all cool, but how about having a Vuvuzela as your ringtone? Now wouldn’t that be awesome? Surprising everybody with the Vuvuzela horn blowing when your phone rings will just make their days so much better.

You can now download the Free Vuvuzela Ringtone for your phone, yea free no strings attached. Just download the mp3 file of the Vuvuzela and put it on your phone and set as ringtone.

So what are you waiting for? Go and download the ringtone already and start surprising the people around with a Vuvuzela horn when your phone rings.

Are the Vuvuzela on the brink of being banned?

What started out as a fun way to express your excitement for the World Cup, the Vuvuzela has got everybody talking again and this time its not about the great spirit it is showing from fans.

The bee-like noise of the Vuvuzela has been echoing throughout all of the World Cup stadiums since the opening ceremony and what at first showed spirit and enthusiasm towards the game are now starting to irritate spectators and fans alike.

Ban Vuvuzelas from 2010 Fifa World Cup

Danny Jordaan, South Africa’s World Cup organising chief said that they may start banning Vuvuzela’s from inside stadium due to a high number of complaints from viewers and broadcasters.

Vuvuzela is still a trending topic on Twitter but not a positive one anymore, users on the popular social networking site are complaining about the noise of the Vuvuzela and are asking for its ban, some even calling it the most annoying sound of 2010.

The captain of the French Football team,Patrice Evra, has even blamed the Vuvuzela for their poor performance on their opening match against Uruguay. ”We can’t sleep at night because of the vuvuzelas,” Evra said. “People start playing them from 6 a.m.”

Clearly the Vuvuzela is causing some bad publicity for the South African hosted World Cup, with most overseas viewers asking for its ban.

Whats your opinion? Do you think the Vuvuzela should be banned from World Cup matches? Please leave us comment and tell us what you think.

Change your Google homepage background

Last week Google announced a new feature that enables you to add your favorite picture as your Google homepage background. Initially it was only available on Google.com but Google has now gone and opened it up Internationally.

Apart from opening it up internationally Google also collaborated with some top artists, sculptors and photographers to its users some extra inspiration by giving us a gallery of background images to use as your Google homepage background.

Change your Google homepage background

There are some nice images there, but come on Google where is the World Cup background? Luckily you can upload your own pictures as well so what I did was grab The Forge Web Creation’s Bafana Bafana background they released earlier this month.

To upload or change your Google homepage background look for a change background link either just beneath the search box or at the bottom left of the screen.

Come on liven up you Google homepage with some World Cup flavour.

Hyundai Giant Vuvuzela Sound Test

I am just loving all the World Cup spirit at the moment, all the flags on the cars and in the streets and shop, everybody blowing vuvuzelas and even Google adding Street View inside the stadiums.

Cape Tonians can not help but notice the Giant Vuvuzela that is mounted on the famous bridge to nowhere in Town, and rumour has it that it will be blown each time a goal is scored in the World Cup.

So it seems the rumor was true, and in this video they are doing a sound test of the Giant Vuvuzela.

I am so glad I don’t live or work near that bridge ;)
