Google Chrome climbing the ranks

November 2010 Browser Market ShareNet Applications has released their browser statistics for November 2010 and its no surprise that Google Chrome’s market share is increasing.

Google Chrome is fast approaching the 10% mark slowly stealing up valuable market share from Firefox that owns 22.76% of the browser market. All thing are not peachy for Internet Explorer either, with the browser from Microsoft losing market share fast down from 62% at the start of the year to 58% last month, despite Internet Explorer 9 that was just released.

Apple’s Safari browser is sitting at the number 4 spot having a 5.57% market share, up more than 1% since the beginning of the year, this could be due to the release of the new iPad. Opera is taking the number 5 spot with a 2.27% market share, a fraction of a percentage down from earlier this year.
