What started out as a fun way to express your excitement for the World Cup, the Vuvuzela has got everybody talking again and this time its not about the great spirit it is showing from fans.

The bee-like noise of the Vuvuzela has been echoing throughout all of the World Cup stadiums since the opening ceremony and what at first showed spirit and enthusiasm towards the game are now starting to irritate spectators and fans alike.

Ban Vuvuzelas from 2010 Fifa World Cup

Danny Jordaan, South Africa’s World Cup organising chief said that they may start banning Vuvuzela’s from inside stadium due to a high number of complaints from viewers and broadcasters.

Vuvuzela is still a trending topic on Twitter but not a positive one anymore, users on the popular social networking site are complaining about the noise of the Vuvuzela and are asking for its ban, some even calling it the most annoying sound of 2010.

The captain of the French Football team,Patrice Evra, has even blamed the Vuvuzela for their poor performance on their opening match against Uruguay. ”We can’t sleep at night because of the vuvuzelas,” Evra said. “People start playing them from 6 a.m.”

Clearly the Vuvuzela is causing some bad publicity for the South African hosted World Cup, with most overseas viewers asking for its ban.
