I have come to the conclusion that it is usually those that do not have a Vuvuzela or has not had the chance to blow one that gets upset with it, I mean it is just so much fun. Even if you do not have a Vuvuzela you get applications for your phones that simulates the noise of a Vuvuzela blowing when you touch the screen.

Thats all cool, but how about having a Vuvuzela as your ringtone? Now wouldn’t that be awesome? Surprising everybody with the Vuvuzela horn blowing when your phone rings will just make their days so much better.

You can now download the Free Vuvuzela Ringtone for your phone, yea free no strings attached. Just download the mp3 file of the Vuvuzela and put it on your phone and set as ringtone.

So what are you waiting for? Go and download the ringtone already and start surprising the people around with a Vuvuzela horn when your phone rings.

Nu Metro cinemas in association with SuperSport and DSTV have partnered to bring South African viewers live footage of certain World Cup matches on the big screen.

With the World Cup in full swing, Sony has been promoting their new range of 3-D television aggressively here in South Africa but to the locals dismay there is no use for it yet in South Africa as only overseas sport networks like ESPN is offering the World Cup games in 3-D.

Nu Metro will over live screenings of the World Cup in 3-D at the following selected cinemas, Emperors Palace, Montecasino, Clearwater Mall, The Glen, Bedford Centre, Hyde Park, Menlyn Park, The Pavilion, Galleria, V&A Waterfront, Canal Walk, Riverside Mall, Loch Logan and Walmer Park.

If you are interested in viewing a live World Cup match in 3-D the following games will be shown:

What started out as a fun way to express your excitement for the World Cup, the Vuvuzela has got everybody talking again and this time its not about the great spirit it is showing from fans.

The bee-like noise of the Vuvuzela has been echoing throughout all of the World Cup stadiums since the opening ceremony and what at first showed spirit and enthusiasm towards the game are now starting to irritate spectators and fans alike.

Danny Jordaan, South Africa’s World Cup organising chief said that they may start banning Vuvuzela’s from inside stadium due to a high number of complaints from viewers and broadcasters.

Vuvuzela is still a trending topic on Twitter but not a positive one anymore, users on the popular social networking site are complaining about the noise of the Vuvuzela and are asking for its ban, some even calling it the most annoying sound of 2010.

The captain of the French Football team,Patrice Evra, has even blamed the Vuvuzela for their poor performance on their opening match against Uruguay. ”We can’t sleep at night because of the vuvuzelas,” Evra said. “People start playing them from 6 a.m.”

Clearly the Vuvuzela is causing some bad publicity for the South African hosted World Cup, with most overseas viewers asking for its ban.

Whats your opinion? Do you think the Vuvuzela should be banned from World Cup matches? Please leave us comment and tell us what you think.

I am just loving all the World Cup spirit at the moment, all the flags on the cars and in the streets and shop, everybody blowing vuvuzelas and even Google adding Street View inside the stadiums.

Cape Tonians can not help but notice the Giant Vuvuzela that is mounted on the famous bridge to nowhere in Town, and rumour has it that it will be blown each time a goal is scored in the World Cup.

So it seems the rumor was true, and in this video they are doing a sound test of the Giant Vuvuzela.

I am so glad I don’t live or work near that bridge

Google launched Street View for South Africa this morning that allows you to view streets as if you are driving around in them.

Google Street View come just in time for the Fifa World Cup 2010, where visitors can now view certain places in our beautiful country without actually traveling there.

Getting with the spirit of the 2010 Fifa World Cup, Google also added a Street View tour to the Soccer City Stadium in Gauteng. The Street View of Soccer City where the opening and final matches of the World Cup will be played, allows you to walk around inside the stadium and on the pitch. Doesn’t look like there is one for the Cape Town stadium as this was the first thing I checked this morning.

Go check it out Street View of Soccer City.
