Weather has been really chilly the past couple of days here in Cape Town and this morning while driving to work I recorded a mere 5 degrees from the car thermometer.
Local weather forecasters yesterday predicted snow on Table Mountain and when I spotted these pics I just had to share it. The pics clearly shows some snow on Table Mountain, although its not much and you can’t see it from the bottom it sure as hell is there and I can feel it in the temperature.

Photos taken from StressKitten on Twitter.
There are also reports that the mountains near Paarl and Wellington is covered in snow, if you got some pics why not send them in and I will gladly post them.

Amazing how excited Cape Townians get when there;s a few patches of snow, lol. At least we can validate the cold.

I cannot believe it…..snow on table mountain in June!!! Nice photos.
Those are awesome pictures, but there’s something else I think you have to see. Tell me, have you ever seen a frozen sea? I’m talking about Cape Town, frozen! Check this out – http://three65vibe.wordpress.com/2010/06/18/have-you-ever-seen-a-frozen-sea/
I have seen those pics before Maxelo, been doing the rounds for a few years now. I dont think that is Cape Town however.
